 Lauricia learned how to sing when other children were learning how to talk. Raised by musical parents, Lauricia was constantly surrounded by music in her home. 'I remember my mother playing the guitar and singing to me every day', the young singer/songwriter recalls. Her father also became an inspiration in helping her to choose her musical path. 'He was always supporting me in music no matter if it was in the school choir or writing my own material.'
What makes Lauricia so unique? She loves writing and singing in other languages! She takes her love of international cultures, music and people and fits them all together in a wonderfully artistic way. Also, her music offers a different sound, which many people are finding as a refreshing change! It is even hard to find a genre to fit it into. 'Even people who claim to dislike pop are listening to my music!'
